I am lifting my king ranch its an 06 white/tan in color. I wanna keep the lift looking really clean. flush wheels with the fender flares all that good stuff. i cant decide if i should get a 4" or a 6", i dont want to go any bigger or any smaller than these two sizes. not sure what brand 4" but i have had the fabtech 6" on my last truck and i wouldn't do it any other way. thanks for the help.

 

the fabtech is a great lift. I have seen a king ranch the same color has yours lifted around town and it is really nice. I also like the way the rancho 4" looks very clean on nicer trucks like the lariat and king ranch

 

no full suspension lift is gonna keep the the front tires flush with the flares like it is now. i was running the stock 20's for a while with my rancho and they stuck out almost 2 inches. most lift kit won't allow rims with such a deep backspace. if you want the tires to stay flush, then get a leveling kit and run 35's on the stockers.

 

I'm running 35's on my 6" fabtech and yes they do stick out. Just means I wash the truck a lot more.

 

like its been said lifts will increase your front track width. my BDS increased about 1 7/8'". if you want stock wheels which IMO would look sick with your 20" KR wheels get the 4" rancho with the red subframe. would look very clean.

 

thanks for the info. my buddies were saying the ford uses a knuckle lift system which will make the front tires stick out more but i was going to use a spacer on the rear tires to even things out. i guess ill find out once we start tearing things apart...

 

I would go with the 4 inch ranch and keep your stock 20's it will help keep the looks you are going for better than a fabtech or pro comp lift..

but i must throw in my 2 cents. i have a leveling kit and the add a leaf in the back on 285/65/20's so all in all its got about 4" on it. looks real good and its cheap compared to a full lift...

oh and the pic in my sig is with the tires and leveling kit but without the add a leaf

you need a taller block or an aal, i wouldn't tow much with that setup

 

if you re-read my post it says i do have one. i didnt have one for about a month or 2 so i could get the funds

 

eitherway then why don't you post a pic of the way it sits down, personally that setup is worthless, can't tow/haul with it IMO
