What size tire can i fit on a stock 2006 F-150 with no leveling kit?
Hey guys,
I tried searching for this but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a stock 2006 F-150. Its time to get some new tires and I was looking into getting some off-road tires (even though I never go off road). I am not going to put a leveling kit on the front, in fact i was thinking about putting hangers on the rear to level the back end. Whats the biggest size tire I could fit on a stock 18" rim? Also, any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I was in a big rush to get my 33x12.50's put on my truck and actually had them on my truck for a couple days until my leveling kit arrived in the mail. I guess what I am saying is that any tire with an overall diameter of 33 in and 12.50 width would fit without rubbing. I really am not sure what metric size that would be for an 18 inch rim. Another thing... if you are going to spend the money to lower the rear anyway, you should definitely use that money instead to raise the front. I think you would be alot happier with the look.

I have an 06 f150 with 285's and they rub the bottom black plastic piece under the bumper. I installed a 2.5 inch rough country leveling kit to the front and they still rub the black plastic. I guess im going to have to trim it down to fit the 33 12.50 20 federal couragia tires i just ordered
