JL 500/1v2 VS 500/1

Hey guys,

Is there much difference between a JL 500/1v2 and a JL 500/1?

I have a chance to get a 500/1 at a great price. Right now i have a JL A1400 running a stealthbox(10w3v2), would it be worth it to grab the 500/1?

I would be picking up the 500/1 for $180-CDN.

Thanks

I would say it's probably just small modifications to cooling or appearance, something of that nature. You're running a A1400 for a SVC sub? Seems a little much but if it works why grab the 500?

i have the first series 500/1 in my suv. it is fine. ihave the v2 in my f150. imo they are the same, here is what jl says
The original Slash amplifiers set new performance standards for automotive amplification and became the best-selling premium mobile amplifiers in history. The new Slash v2 amplifiers build on this legendary technology platform, enhancing it in a variety of key areas, like radically improved thermal performance, a beautiful new stackable chassis design and dozens of tweaks aimed at improving performance, flexibility and reliability. There is no magic and no guesswork here... just pure technology, refined to the last detail.

If it's a good deal the 500/1 will make a great improvement over the a1400.
