Raptor True Dual w/ Hidden Tailpipes (PICs)
After several suggestions from others, I had true dual exhaust installed on my Raptor yesterday with an X-pipe up front and dual mufflers. The specifications are as follows:
True Duals with 2.5" piping
MagnaFlow Tru-X pipe
Dual MagnaFlow SI/SO mufflers
Tailpipes over the axle and around the 35" spare (Hidden)
4" Diameter Double Wall Stainless Steel Tips
I have grown tired of the big tailpipes straight out the back and I have never liked tailpipes coming out the side in front or directly behind the wheel. I asked the shop to hide the tailpipes except for a small amount of the tips. They used the factory rubber mounts and they even added one of their own on the driver side at the rear. The workmanship of the pipe bending and welds is very good.
They may have tucked the tips up a little too far, but I will let you guys be the judge of it.

X-Pipe Looking Back:
Dual Mufflers Welded Together:
Passenger Side Tailpipe:
Drive Side Tailpipe:
The 4" Tips from the Rear:
Driver Tip from the Side:
Rear from higher up:
Should I leave them the way they are or should I ask them to expose another inch or two of the tips?
Thanks,

PS. I will post a sound clip as soon as I charge my Flip camera.

Thanks for all the comments!! I really thought I wanted the tailpipes to be a little lower, but everyone else seems to disagree. The owner of the shop said they would gladly change the tips to any position and I could take a few days to decide.
I have not used my Flip in a while and it is having a problem charging, so I may be delayed in getting the sound clip. It is louder than my 5.4L with the same type of exhaust, but maintains the deep tone of true dual MagnaFlow mufflers. There is no drone in the cabin at highway cruising speeds.
