Growling noise - not bearings?

I have a growling noise in my '03 F150 4WD. The noise is always there, and sounds like wheel bearing noise. It's hard to tell where it's coming from, but does go away completely when going around left turns in the road. Even a lane change to the left will make it go away momentarily.

Ok, I figure it's on the left side. It sounded more to the front than back to me, so I replaced the left front hub. No joy. I then pulled out the left rear axle. The shaft looked fine, so I just replaced the bearing. Still the noise persists.

The only thing left that seems like it would change with body roll is the CV joints, but I personally have never heard them "growl".

Any other ideas?

By the way, it doesn't change if I go into 4WD.

It sure sounds like a hub bearing assembly to me. Maybe the right side is bad.

Pass side wheel bearing. Noise goes away when putting weight on it..
